Common Concerns

My approach to counselling and healing is largely informed by my own mental health journey and personal experience in individual and group therapy. My practice is eclectic, collaborative, and person-centered. My approach is trauma-informed and draws heavily from anti-oppressive and harm-reduction philosophies.

I work from a place of curiosity as we explore your experiences and emotions and work towards your goal(s). I utilize ideas and strategies from a number of theoretical orientations including solution-focused counselling, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices.

I am particularly interested but not exclusively focused on supporting clients within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. I aim to support adults (18+) of all identities and social locations within my practice.
